About This Role

SparkTex Cleaners is seeking a Training Coordinator to design, deliver, and continuously improve our training programs for new hires and existing team members. As our company grows, the quality of our training directly determines the quality of our service, and this role ensures every technician who represents SparkTex is fully prepared to exceed client expectations.

Your responsibilities include developing structured onboarding programs for new cleaning technicians, creating and updating training materials (checklists, videos, reference guides), conducting hands-on training sessions at our facility and in the field, and administering skill assessments that verify competency before technicians are assigned to client jobs. You will also design ongoing skill development workshops covering advanced techniques, new equipment, and specialty cleaning services.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of cleaning industry expertise and a natural ability to teach. You understand that adults learn best through demonstration and practice, not just lectures, and you design your training programs accordingly. Your patience, clarity, and encouragement help nervous new hires build confidence quickly, while your advanced content challenges experienced technicians to refine their skills.

This role also involves measuring training effectiveness through quality scores, client feedback, and technician retention rates. You will work closely with the Quality Inspector and Operations Manager to identify skill gaps across the team and develop targeted training interventions. Your data-driven approach ensures our training investment delivers measurable results.

SparkTex offers this position as a leadership role with a stable weekday schedule, a dedicated training materials budget, and the satisfaction of knowing that every successful cleaning job traces back to the foundation you built. If you are passionate about teaching, cleaning excellence, and building great teams, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Experience in training, teaching, or instructional design (cleaning industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Deep, practical knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly and patiently
  • Patience and empathy when working with new hires who are learning foundational skills
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple training schedules, materials, and assessment records
  • Comfort with creating written and visual training materials (guides, checklists, short videos)

What You Get

  • Leadership-level compensation ($19–24/hr) reflecting the role's impact on company quality
  • Direct influence on company culture and the professional development of every team member
  • Stable Monday-through-Friday schedule with predictable hours
  • Dedicated training materials budget for developing new content and resources
  • Career advancement into Training Manager or Operations leadership roles
  • Health insurance eligibility, paid time off, and professional development opportunities
